All work is of earthstone clay and is handthrown on the wheel before turning and refining to create a smooth delicate shape. Only the insides are glazed. They are then fired in an anagama type wood kiln for four days to 1300 degrees centigrade. Natural woodash and markings from the flames bring each piece to life.
