Mark trained at Muchelney before spending four years in West Africa as a VSO volunteer, kiln building, training and making pots.
In 1998 he established his own pottery in Somerset and developed a strong tableware range.
In 2002 Mark rejoined the Muchelney pottery team full time. His individual work is both porcelain and stoneware, glazed in a range of glazes including shino.
