Warren MacKenzie
needs little introduction, he is one of the foremost potters working within
the Anglo Oriental tradition.
MacKenzie worked with Bernard Leach at the Leach Pottery
in St. Ives, England 1949-1952, living at the Pottery Cottage. Warren
said of his conversations with Bernard Leach `He taught me to see, to
think and to feel. Nothing is as important as those things`.
The Oakwood
Gallery are delighted to be able to bring some of Warren's pottery
to England, his work is regrettable seen only rarely in England.
