Each page will contain around 10 items which will consist of single pieces by individual potters/ceramic artists. Normally all the works are previously owned items. Furutani Kazuya (b. 1976) is the son of Furutani Michio (1946-2000) His father was highly respected and his son has gained high praise for his superb Yohen pieces. This Guinomi was purchased from Yakimono in 2003. Signed box with cloth.

Andrew Crouch is often overlooked and not widely known, however he is a really fine maker as this rather good facetted jat shows. Great tenmoku glaze and very well thrown. Impressed personal mark slightly obscured by glaze. A very nice piece indeed

The theme of McWilliam's work is optical illusion. The viewer is doubly deceived with Martin's pots as from a distance the bowl appears two-dimensional but on closer inspection the piece has depth as well. This example is a particularly large piece.

A good early bowl by Jack Doherty Porcelain with applied brushed hakeme style decoration. Thrown and altered to form a elliptical bowl with wavy rim profile. Impressed personal mark. Jack is currently lead potter at the world renowned Leach Pottery, St.Ives.

A beautiful lidded flask from this Dutch based ceramicist of Chinese decent. Yuk Kan trained at Goldsmith's College, London in 1986 - 87 and in 1999 was selected to take part in the exhibition "Westerwald Prize-European Ceramic '99" Germany.
