AASE HAUGAARD is one of Denmark's prominent ceramicist uniquely mastering both low and high salt and wood-fired studio ceramics as well as working in porcelain. Aase Haugaard vessels are to be found in many private as well as public collections in Denmark, Finland, Germany and New Zealand, her most recent solo exhibition in Great Britain took place at the highly respected St. Ives Ceramics, Aase's work was also exhibited at Collect, V&A London 2005 and Art in Clay, Hatfield House 2005.
