Micki
Schloessingk
Wood-fired, salt-glazed stoneware.
Micki
Schloessingk trained in studio pottery at Harrow and has been
exploring the relationship between wood firing and salt glazing
ever since. She established her present studio on the Gower Peninsular
in 1987. Micki makes a range of individual and functional pots both
wheel thrown and hand-built.
Micki has exhibited widely and her work is in many private and public
collections.
Oakwood Ceramics are particularly pleased to exhibit Micki's
excellent and quite distinctive yunomi, we hope to have other work
by her available on our website very soon.
