Peter
Starkey
oakwoodceramics are delighted
to welcome Peter Starkey to the website.
Peter was one of the early pioneers in the contemporary studio ceramics
movement to work with salt-glazed stoneware. He was a leader of
the Dartington Training Workshop Pottery project 1975-1979.
From 1979 until 2003 he was Course Director
B.A. (Hons) Ceramics, School of Art & Design, University of
Wales Institute, Cardiff.
Peter's work has been featured in many books and exhibitions, most
recently in Below the Salt, Point Magazine, Art and Design
research paper (July 1997)
Peter Starkey's work can been seen in many public collections including:
