Peter Starkey
oakwoodceramics are delighted to welcome Peter Starkey to the website.
Peter was one of the early pioneers in the contemporary studio ceramics movement to work with salt-glazed stoneware. He was a leader of the Dartington Training Workshop Pottery project 1975-1979.
From 1979 until 2003 he was Course Director B.A. (Hons) Ceramics, School of Art & Design, University of Wales Institute, Cardiff.
Peter's work has been featured in many books and exhibitions, most recently in Below the Salt, Point Magazine, Art and Design research paper (July 1997)
