John Mathieson

Work is thrown on a slow Leach kickwheel. For stoneware I use DSS clay from Doble’s, for raku a mix of equal parts of T-Material and HF porcelain. All work is biscuit fired to 980°C.
For stoneware I use ash, tenmoku, talc and shino glazes, reduction firing with propane to cone 10 in a 7 cu.ft. ceramic fibre kiln.

TB-JM1-2 is porcelain all the rest of the yunomi by John are stoneware.
TB-JM1-3 is a Guinomi
