Sam Hall

Sam Hall lives and works in St.Ives, Cornwall. He is a highly regarded potter who works mainly in stoneware. He makes large thrown and altered vessel forms that are decorated with coloured slips and glazes. Sam has recently been working in a collaboration with the artist Kurt Jackson on a number of large wall pieces.
These teabowls have been made especially for inclusion in our teabowl section. All the bowls are in a white stoneware body and have Sam's personal impressed mark to the inside of the turned feet and the mark of the Goal Yard workshops in St Ives. In addition to Sam's personal mark all the bowls are signed Sam Hall or just Hall and 2006 in incised script.

This latest set of bowls by Sam Hall are all slightly larger than the previous bowls exhibited on oakwoodceramics.co.uk.
