Tea Bowl:
Porcelain,celadon glaze with a single tenmoku applied dab. All the bowls by Chris are perhaps closer to Chinese teabowl form than to Japanese. They owe I think much to the wonderful and much admired Jian ware hare's fur and oil silver hare's fur bowls that so inspired the early Japanese Tea Masters.
