Edward Hughes, Bottle Vase.
A round bottle glazed in one of Edward's favourite glazes a mirror black Temmoku. Note the subtle copper glaze drip to the rolled neck. The technical control over glazing and firing were Edward's true strengths. His pots were always beautifully thrown and finished. Quiet pots that exuded a real feel of Japan and Japanese taste.
Impressed with Edward's personal mark of the Japanese symbol for Fire.

A classic tear drop shaped bottle vase by David Frith. Strong and bold cut faceting and a wonderful tenmoku glaze.

An early teardrop bottle, stoneware. Glazed with a tenmoku/kaki type glaze over a grey celadon, wax resist pattern.
Impressed with JM the potter's personal mark and A for Ainstable Jim's Pottery until 2002.
