Matsuzaki Ken b 1950
Stoneware Yunomi made at Masiko Japan in 2003

Matsuzaki Ken is one of the most gifted potter's to come out of the studio of Hamada's finest pupil and National Living Treasure, Shimaoka Tatsuzo. This wonderful yunomi is glazed in a green glassy glaze (Oribe) with his characteristic painted decoration and broad cut facets.
