Andy Moore
Calligraphy

Andy is based in Warwickshire and have been enjoying calligrahy for a number of years. This has included taking an adult education class, a course with the Open College of the Arts and an extended correspondence course with University of Surrey at Roehampton.
When work circumstances changed recently- at the time he was Chief Officer of a registered charity - Andy took the opportunity to devote his self to calligraphy on a full-time, self-employed basis.
Currently arranging my involvement in a number of exhibitions for the remainder of the year. This includes two of his own exhibitions in churches in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust but no longer used for regular worship. The first of these in May, near Stratford, will concentrate solely on texts about buildings in Warwickshire.
Andy say's that he is particularly pleased to be involved with this exhibition as his wife and he have always loved the kind of studio potters represented. It seemed a natural starting point to go to Bernard Leach and A Potter's Book.
