Ruthanne
Tudball is one of our leading soda-glazed potters working here in
the United Kingdom today. Originally from California, Ruthanne has
lived in England since 1968. She was brought up in California living
by the mountains, sea and desert. Ruthanne's experience of the Mojave
Desert with its wind scarred dunes and rocks has had a profound
effect on her work. With exposure to such awesome landscapes it's
not surprising that her pots should reflect the textures and colours
of her formative years spent growing up in this strange and majestic
place.

A wonderful saki bottle by Ruthanne. The two
saki bottles exhibited with us have been made especially at our
request.Soda glazed stoneware. Impressed with the maker's personal
