All Peter Swanson's work is reduction and is fired in a gas kiln. Many of Peter's pots are glazed with glazes made from unusual plant ashes. Ashes used include Wheat Straw, Japanese Knot Weed, recycled Thatch Reeds and Lavender Ash. Each ash gives a different result. See details of each pot for information.
