Chris
Keenan left behind his career as an actor to become a potter.
Through a chance meeting with Edmund de Waal at his studio in Sheffield
he became a close friend and later was Edmund's apprentice.
Chris has developed his own very individual style of pottery, Making
only in porcelain with either tenmoku, celadon or a combination
of both. The tokkuri and group of other pieces we are exhibiting
are all representive of Chris's current work and forms. His teapots
are particularly keenly collected.
