MISCELLANEOUS FRENCH POTTERS
AND INDEX

Oakwoodceramics are delighted to bring you a selection of pots by some of the leading French potters.
Many of these pieces come from the collection of Margot Bartlett who sadly died in June 2008. Margot along with Jack Blackburn were the first to champion and to bring to the attention of British studio pottery collector's and admirer's the wonderful and diverse ceramics being produced by some very talented French potters and makers. Through their very successful series of exhibitions 'Pots from France' held each year in Youlgrave, Derbyshire they introduced and built up a following for the potters of France. The French Connection section of oakwoodceramics is in part a collaborative project with Jack Blackburn.
